For the past year, Des Moines Register Statehouse Reporter Brianne Pfannenstiel has been covering the problems more & more Iowans are having with the state’s antiquated alcohol regulations. Pfannenstiel spoke with Des Moines FM host Chance Dorland about her most recent article that detailed Iowa Governor Terry Branstad’s order for a new review of the state’s alcohol laws after continued criticism from local business owners who say the regulations are outdated, overly cumbersome & force extra restrictions on liquor distillers compared to beer brewers & wine makers.
