Weeks after Iowa State University released an internal audit report on its ISU Flight Service & university owned aircraft, Bleeding Heartland reporter & blogger Laura Belin says despite much effort, & even financial investment, she’s made “surprisingly little headway toward filling in the gaps.” Countless calls & emails for documents & other information on the use of aircraft by ISU president Steven Leath have often gone unfilled, delayed, or delivered at the last possible moment on a Friday afternoon. She spoke with Des Moines FM host Chance Dorland about her investigation & what she’s learned since the story was originally reported by the Associated Press.
